Six months after losing their oldest son to cancer, John and Michelle take Elliott and his dog, Koda, camping, hoping to reconnect as a family. But when Elliott and Koda become lost in the wilderness, their hope for healing gives way to a desperate search for their remaining son. As the parents confront the fear of another devastating loss, Elliott struggles against the dangers around him and the grief he has never fully understood. Then visions of his late brother begin guiding him through the woods. With Koda by his side, Elliott must find his way through the wilderness and get back to the people who love him.
