Always in search of the perfect wave, a group of surfers joins washed-up, shady surf-captain Lazer (played by Kevin Costner) on a surfing trip in the Indian Ocean, for the ultimate point break. The only catch: the island is in restricted waters - and home to an isolated tribe. None the wiser, they surf a colossal wave, they party on the pristine beach, they black out. When they come to, Lazer and his boat are gone. And they are hounded by sinister figures who have come to take their heads.
