Her closest friend is trapped in an abusive relationship, and she can no longer stand by and watch. Together with her boyfriend, she quietly plans a way to help her friend escape — a safe place to stay, a strategy to break free, and a chance to rebuild her life without fear.

But when the plan unfolds, everything goes wrong. Instead of seeing their actions as protection, the friend interprets it as betrayal. Confusion, trauma, and manipulation twist the situation, making her believe the people trying to save her are actually turning against her.

As the fallout grows, the rescuer must confront the painful truth: helping someone who is deeply controlled and emotionally wounded can backfire, and even the purest intentions can be misunderstood. What began as an act of love becomes a test of loyalty, trust, and the fragile line between rescue and ruin.
