According to their tradition, when a man has no male children, he commands his daughter to remain unmarried and bear sons in his name. She accepts this fate, but not everyone in the village is pleased. Several women had long hoped to become his wife, and one of them — driven by jealousy and desperation — begins plotting to sabotage the entire plan.
