TMP Films LLC is an independent production company based in Florida, focused on authentic, emotionally driven stories from emerging voices. Our mission is to support new filmmakers who bring a personal lens to universal experiences — stories that speak to empathy, identity, and human connection.

Our debut feature, The Midway Point, marks the company’s commitment to cinematic storytelling that blends artistry with accessibility. Produced with a nimble and creative spirit during a time of global uncertainty, the film captures the heart of Generation Z through a fresh, personal perspective on coming of age, self-discovery, and the courage to belong.

The Midway Point tells the story of Jake, a high schooler on the autistic spectrum who feels disillusioned with the world. When he meets Alice, he begins to experience life in new ways — unaware that Alice may share more in common with him than he could ever imagine.

Born from writer-director Lucca Vieira’s own experiences growing up in Florida, the film explores themes of loneliness, alienation, and hope in the digital age — a generation caught between connection and isolation. The project draws inspiration from Lost in Translation, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Y Tu Mamà También, and the poetic intimacy of Krzysztof Kieślowski’s work.
