TommasO Ragno, Beatrice Grannò
On March 21, 1956, Italian film legend Anna Magnani wins the Academy Award for Best Actress. She spends the awarding night waiting for the news and wandering through the streets and squares of Rome, surrounded by the people who love her. Dawn brings her victory, but it is a short-lived triumph. An unpredictable curve of fate pushes her to the margins just as she's at the height of her splendour. Overshadowing everything and constantly on her mind is Roberto Rossellini, "an imprint in the heart".
