After four years in production, Light Chaser Animation Studio unveils its tenth animated fantasy feature.
A young scholar, forced to seek shelter for the night in an abandoned Buddhist temple, accidentally falls into an ancient well and discovers a hidden realm where two spirits, transformed into a toad and a tortoise, reside. Imprisoned at the bottom of the well, he becomes the reluctant judge of the stories they tell. Moving between past, present, and future, he listens to and retells tales where reality and the supernatural seamlessly intertwine
