After years of being controlled by a ruthless pimp, Kamsi finally sees a glimmer of hope when a stranger, Jide, steps in and rescues her from the life she desperately wants to escape. Grateful and vulnerable, she believes she has finally found someone willing to help her rebuild her life.
But freedom comes with a new kind of trap.
Jide’s kindness slowly shifts into manipulation. He begins covering her expenses, offering her shelter, and presenting himself as her savior — only to use her dependence against her. Before long, Kamsi realizes he is taking financial advantage of her, exploiting her desperation just as her pimp once did, only in a different disguise.
