Her husband insists she stay home — no job, no income, no independence. To him, being a “full housewife” is proof of loyalty. To her, it feels like a cage. With every bill, grocery run, every household need, she realizes she has no financial power of her own.
So she begins to economize everything.
She cuts corners, hides small amounts of change, stretches meals, reuses, repurposes, and reduces until frugality becomes an obsession. What starts as survival slowly turns into a secret mission: to save enough money to reclaim a piece of her freedom.
