Sinopsis

Deep in the Appalachian wilderness, a dying girl’s final breath unleashes an ancient mountain curse, hungry for vengeance. Hundreds of miles down the trail, the curse spreads through the forest’s fungal messengers until it finds a new vessel: “Dishes,” a fragile but determined young woman hiking the AT with her loyal service dog, Hildy. Haunted by visions and the trauma of her mother’s gruesome suicide, Dishes walks to escape her past, but something in the soil has other plans. Drawn into the orbit of Achilles, a seductive, “trail-famous” hiker with a dark, violent secret, Dishes becomes ensnared in a dangerous web of obsession and death. As tragedy follows her every step, the spirits of the mountains whisper their mission of retribution. To end the curse, Dishes and Achilles must face the sins of the living and the souls of the dead haunting the blood-soaked ground of the Appalachian Mountains on their way to Mile 666.
