Three landlocked friends from the Midwest, along with their loyal dog, set their sights on becoming elite spear fishermen despite having never seen the ocean. Training on farmland with makeshift targets, airplanes, and questionable techniques, they even practice on a frozen lake beside a dead guy on ice. With everything left behind and nothing guaranteed, they head to Los Angeles, where dreams, deep dives, and absurd challenges await. Out in the vast Pacific, they’ll discover that the ocean holds more than just fish and that not every boat on the horizon is friendly.
