Synopsis

Tola pours her heart — and her bank account — into impressing the man she loves. New clothes, expensive gifts, fancy outings… she spends everything she has, convinced that if she tries hard enough, he’ll finally see her the way she sees him.

But love doesn’t bend to effort alone.

Despite all she sacrifices, the man chooses another woman — someone who didn’t have to perform, spend, or struggle to be noticed. The rejection shatters Tola, leaving her broke, humiliated, and forced to confront the truth she never wanted to face: she was trying to buy affection that was never hers to begin with.

Her journey becomes one of rebuilding — her finances, her confidence, and her understanding of what real love should look like. And in the process, she discovers that the person she needed to impress was never him, but herself.
