Arun Chidambaram Studios (ACS), founded by internationally acclaimed filmmaker Arun Chidambaram, specializes in film production, distribution, and television commercials.

Currently, Arun is producing and directing his latest feature film, POONGOTHAI (Girl Like a Flower), under the ACS banner. The film has been completed, and we are actively seeking acquisition and distribution partners for specific territories and worldwide.

ACS is also interested in acquiring stories, screenplays, and remake rights for future productions.

Arun Chidambaram is an entrepreneur, ad filmmaker, producer, writer, actor, and director. He is the writer and director of the award-winning Indian film 'Kanavu Variyam (Dream Factory), a release by Warner Bros. Pictures. This film marked the first Tamil and South Indian production theatrically distributed by Warner Bros.

‘Dream Factory’ is the first Indian film to receive two prestigious REMI Awards. Previous REMI winners include notable filmmakers such as Steven Spielberg (Jurassic Park), Ang Lee (Life of Pi), Ridley Scott (Gladiator), George Lucas (Star Wars), and Francis Ford Coppola (The Godfather). Arun is also the first Indian director to win two REMI awards and has garnered a total of eight international awards and 15 honors from nine different countries.

The OTT rights for 'Kanavu Variyam (Dream Factory)' were acquired by Netflix, and the film is currently streaming on ZEE5.

Arun also won the personal accolades from the former President of India Dr.APJ. Abdul Kalam. He completed his Masters in USA and worked for JP Morgan Chase in Chicago. Arun quit his lucrative job and returned to Chennai, India to pursue his dream and passion.

ACS has produced several TV commercials, and our latest campaign, 'Food As Medicine,' for a prominent South Indian brand, recently won the ‘Best TVC’ award in the ‘Food & Beverages’ category at the International Advertising Awards, selected from over 7,000 entries released in the past year.
