LUME Production

LUME is an independent and full-service production company based in Italy, established in 2014 by Adriano Bassi and Lara Calligaro.

The company actively involves itself in executive production for international clients in both the film and advertising sectors, concurrently fostering the development of feature film and TV series projects. LUME is committed to projects that highlight cultural and artistic significance, with a particular emphasis on thematic content and the promotion of European co-productions on a global scale.

With a rich experience spanning over 25 years in the film industry, ADRIANO BASSI has collaborated with renowned directors on both national and international platforms, including Paolo Sorrentino, Peter Greenaway, Michael Apted, David Guggenheim, and others. His vision for LUME is to establish it as a premier destination for esteemed foreign productions and to foster new international co-productions.

LARA CALLIGARO, with a background in political philosophy, boasts a diverse portfolio that includes work with NGOs in Italy, Africa, Afghanistan, and the former Yugoslavia, focusing on documentary production. Her collaborations extend to international artists in installations, video art, and music. Building on her skills in the Italian film industry, TV programs, and commercials, Lara oversees the editorial direction of Originals at LUME. She plays a pivotal role in the artistic and production development as the Feature Films & Narrative Series Producer.
