Rachel Delovino
In 2021 Rachel started The Dance Experience as a production company for dancers, choreographers and studios who were craving a new performance experience. Rachel has since realized there is a market for cinedances. Here are a few reasons why The Dance Experience believes the market is ready to invest: 1) Cinedances are easy and entertaining to watch because of their short length and aesthetically pleasing visuals. 2) Anyone can watch them... TDEAZ is commited to saying no to filming hypersexualized moves and costumes of minors. 3) Cinedances are short narrative films not videos. Nor are they music videos (which feature the musician) or TikTok videos or Instagram stories. The difference? A video is a documentation of a dance. A cinedance tells a short story with stunning visuals and music. 4) TDEAZ, short for The Dance Experience AZ only uses RED digital cameras (V-Raptor) and shoots at 24 fps for that true cinematic feel. We also use high quality lenses such as Atlas Anamorphic lenses. 5) Lastly, dancers are eager for new opportunities to create and perform. As a society, we effectively age people out of dance at 18 when they must decide if they're going to "make a career out of it" or just... fade into black. This is an untapped resource. Millions of dollars goes into dance education every year... cinedance gives dancers a chance to continue to dance well into adulthood without the pressures of company life.
A cinedance is truly a visual form of storytelling and dance is the universal language it uses. They are for everyone, everywhere, anytime.
