Synopsis

At Celestial Acres, caring for the animals may be the mission, but the people surrounding them create a story all their own.

At the center is Rosanna, a strong-willed woman running a working animal sanctuary filled with alpacas, horses, chickens, roosters, and other animals while navigating the realities of family, relationships, responsibility, and keeping the property moving forward. Her unconventional household includes her ex-husband living in a guest bungalow on the property, her younger boyfriend working alongside her on the farm, her twin teenage daughters, her son away at college, and her boyfriend’s energetic young son.

The result is a property that can move naturally between animal rescue, female empowerment, humor, family dynamics, relationships, and the unpredictable reality of operating a sanctuary.

A professional proof-of-concept episode has been completed, featuring interviews, animal care, sanctuary operations, family interactions, and the personalities that make Celestial Acres unique. The property has been intentionally developed with flexibility for the right partner and can evolve in one of three primary directions: a character-driven family reality series, a more serious animal-rescue and community documentary series, or a hybrid combining both worlds.

LCP Studios serves as the property’s exclusive development and producer-representation partner and is seeking the right production, co-production, co-financing, network, streaming, sales, distribution, sponsorship, and strategic partners to determine the strongest path forward.
