Synopsis

Using rare and unpublished archive material, “A Magnificent Obsession” is the intimate story of a great friendship between a group of young artists who together won the Oscar and wrote memorable pages of great Cinema following a great leader, a director as young as them: Bernardo Bertolucci.
A true “cinematic family” gathered around the charismatic figure of one of the greatest authors of Italian and international cinematography, who would soon become a point of reference for international culture and cinema. All this is told through the words and charisma of Stefania Sandrelli who worked with Bernardo Bertolucci several times making her the actress who participated in the greatest number of the Maestro’s films.
