The story follows Olivia Wyndree (Peyton Woolf), a 16-year-old girl who nearly drowns after being thrown from a boat by Jackson Irwinhall (Ethan Loomis), a manipulative senior student. After being rescued, Olivia experiences multiple near-death experiences and is revived. During her recovery, she struggles with nightmares and memory loss surrounding the incident. Through hypnotherapy sessions with Doctor Allmon (Billy Zane), Olivia uncovers the truth about what happened on the boat and discovers a profound connection to the past. The story ultimately explores family healing (Lisa Brenner, Brian O'Halloran, Penelope Devlin), forgiveness, and the mysterious ways fate connects past and present events.
