Synopsis

A man, confident and admired, becomes engaged to a woman who loves him deeply. She supports him, sacrifices for him, and stands by him through difficult seasons. But when he begins to rise in status and opportunity, he convinces himself he can “do better.” He ends the engagement abruptly, humiliating her and dismissing everything she poured into the relationship.

Heartbroken and betrayed, she speaks words of pain — not a supernatural curse, but a raw expression of how deeply he wounded her: “May you never know joy from the family you chose over me.”

He laughs it off. Life moves on.

But the years are not kind to him.

How the Consequences Unfold

  • He marries someone else, but the marriage is strained.

  • They try to have children, but nothing works.

  • Doctors can’t explain it.

  • His home becomes filled with silence instead of laughter.

  • The weight of regret grows heavier each year.

His family begins to whisper that maybe his past actions — the cruelty, the betrayal, the way he discarded someone who loved him — have come back to haunt him. Not through magic, but through the moral and emotional consequences of the pain he caused.
