THE FEATURE FILM PROJECT

A DRAMATIC CRIME SAGA resembling Michael Mann's Heat and Martin Scorsese's The Departed, BROTHERS IN ARMS explores the bonds of brotherhood and the meaning of family when challenged by distance and separation. Acted, co-directed, and written by JORDAN CHARLES (Aloha, Railway Spine), forces separate two brothers at an early age until fate reunites them years later against a backdrop of secrets and divided loyalties, as the conflict between police and criminal plays out in the most personal way. The two brothers’ intersecting storylines weave like a saga of corruption and broken justice, but the heart of the story beats in the gut-wrenching encounters between family members gone wrong. BROTHERS IN ARMS treads upon family reconciliation, hope, and conflict to duty, where challenges obstruct social and family justice amidst greater city conflicts in a way that resonates with widespread international audiences. No fate is left to spare in the film's climax where emotional discoveries and secrets see lives hang in the balance. With its ethnic, engulfed characters in tow, this is intended as a prestige, awards-worthy feature film project amenable to wide viewership.
