Barcelona, 2011. Berta has just discovered she is pregnant, but before deciding whether she wants to become a mother, she needs to know if her boyfriend is truly in love with her. Following the advice of her roommate Sílvia, she gives him burundanga, the called "truth serum", hoping to get an honest answer. What she gets instead is a confession she could never have imagined: He is a member of ETA and is preparing a kidnapping. With more doses of burundanga, inconvenient truths coming to light, everyone is forced to reconsider what they really want.
