The inspirational true story of the cycling team at Ridgeview Academy, a medium-security correctional school in Colorado. Coach Greg Townsend (Matthew Modine) rounds up an unlikely crew of incarcerated students for an impossible bike ride from Denver to the Grand Canyon. The beginner bicyclists battle heatstroke, speed wobbles, and the greatest enemy of all cyclists - a chafed butt - as they learn to stop fighting each other and ride together as a peloton, with many laughs and tears along the way.
