HELL FM is illuminating the exceptional career of the German DJ known as
Hell, who is spearheading German Techno movement from the late 80s till now
on an everlasting global rollercoaster ride.
In the early days of techno, Germany inspired a worldwide level of hysteria, that
has yet to find a match in todays music scene. During Loveparade, Hell played
in front of 1.5 million people. He collaborated with well-known artists from the
creative industries like Bryan Ferry, Puff Daddy, Raf Simons, Dirk
Schöneberger, Grace Jones and Jonathan Meese. He teamed up with Margiela,
Maserati, Balenciaga and Agent Provocateur.
As a music producer Hell covered a lot of ground in developing creative legacy
in the paradigm shift from analogue to electronic music. Hells label
International Deejay Gigolo Records immediately stood out and attracted
likeminded artists like Fischerspooner, Vitalic, Miss Kittin & the Hacker,
Dopplereffekt and Jeff Mills.
Journalist like to write, that Gigolo is to Hell, what the factory was to Warhol.
Hell is the ultimate eyewitness, a frontman of the global techno movement.
