Arturo is the owner of an art gallery in Buenos Aires; charming, sophisticated but quite unscrupulous. He represents Renzo, a complex and extremely unruly abstract painter undergoing a steep decline. Their relationship is one of love and hate. Although friends, the gallerist and painter do not usually agree on anything and their fights are legendary. When Arturo tries an extreme and very risky plan to change Renzo’s and his own bad fortunes, the arrival of Alex, a former aspiring artist and student of Renzo’s, puts everything in danger in the most surprising ways.
