Onimanji, a Samurai Ninja who has been cursed and sealed in an urn for over 600 years by the Karakuri Ninjas, is resurrected in modern day by an assassin-for-hire company. Despite his master swordsmanship, Onimanji faces many challenges in the 21st century and is condemned to work with an eccentric team of misfits -- his sexy and cool-headed boss Kika and his bumbling assassin colleague Shigeru. Together they are assigned to tackle supernatural evil forces, while battling the Natsumegu Company: a rival company helmed by a psychopathic leader.
