Synopsis

Uptight police detective Lou Gibbins has spent too much time chasing bad guys and not enough time with his family; and now he’s paying for it after his estranged daughter ODs just as he makes it to her death bed.

Exhausted by grief and fighting denial, he drives across the Pacific Northwest, looking to disappear into the misty mountains. But when he gets mixed up with a young woman at a remote gas station, he is dragged into a conspiracy that will see him arrested for murder, or worse, by the corrupt and brutal local sheriff and his deputies.

Sheriff Quinlan, dispatches his fully loaded cavalry, seething hounds and aerial drones in hot pursuit, Lou and the young girl are forced on the run into the rugged wilderness; and the man who’s made a career of following the rules, must now break them if he wants to save their lives
