The Krampus Rises

Synopsis

Above the isolated mountain village of Talschlüss, three young couples escape to a cabin in the Dolomites for a weekend getaway. Their relaxing trip takes a dark turn after their encounters with hostile villagers and eerie warnings about the nearby Saint Nikolaus’ peak. After one of the girls, Helena, falls into an underground ice cave and unconsciously consumes a pulsating heart she undergoes a terrifying transformation, leading to the gruesome deaths of her friends at the hands of the Krampus, a creature awakened by their presence. As the survivors confront the horror unleashed upon them, they must fight to survive and ultimately face a choice that could save or doom the village.
