Synopsis

Gabi, an exchange student from France, arrives in a small village in the north of Spain. She is staying at the house of Nico Mortimer and his parents, Marisa and Sebastián Mortimer, who run the local funeral home, located in the village cemetery. The Mortimer family’s peculiar profession causes Nico to be bullied at school, where they are given the nickname the Mortician family. The only place the other kids leave them alone is the cemetery, and so that’s where they end up spending most of their time.
One day, Pol, who works at the cemetery, tells them one of the many, paranormal stories that are linked to the macabre location and the kids decide to investigate. But when they find a bloody corpse and some stolen jewels, suddenly, things get very real. By the time they tell Nico’s parents about the awful murder, someone has cleaned up the crime scene and run off with the jewels, making everyone think they’ve made the whole thing up. From that moment on, Gabi and Nico start to receive death threats. The feeling they are being watched terrifies them, but even so, they are determined to find out the truth, even if it means putting their lives at risk and entering the dark world of adults.
