Building on the global success of Perfect Strangers, one of the most remade films of all time, The Perfect Holiday (Der Perfekte Urlaub) serves as the only official German sequel to The Perfect Secret (Das perfekte Geheimnis). Directed by Bora Dagtekin, the film continues his signature blend of sharp comedy and ensemble storytelling, expanding the thematic universe of the original into a new setting. While plot details remain under wraps, the project is positioned as a high-concept commercial comedy with strong crossover potential, building on the enduring appeal of Perfect Strangers and its internationally recognized format.
