Welcome to The Phoenix Exchange, a chain of identical, oasis-style dive bars where Wan and Hyrum rendezvous. The bartenders are straight out of a beer commercial, and the regulars keep their eyes averted but their ears wide open.
Hyrum can't help bragging about the briefcase handcuffed to his wrist, forcing Wan to usher him out before he spills too much about the life saving drugs they’ve been tasked to deliver to Evangeline, a dying drug lord and the mother of Wan’s daughter.
On their boat journey, they face trouble on the water. River pirates attack, but Zora arrives just in time to help fend them off, while Hyrum only gets in the way. At the next Phoenix Exchange, Hyrum exaggerates their adventure to the crowd, turning it into a wild tale of Pirates of the Caribbean meets an Asian Captain Jack and a Black Zorro, with himself as the hero. Wan is annoyed but focused on their mission.
Their encounters with enemies become increasingly dangerous, and Hyrum's stories grow more outlandish – Ancient Indian warriors! The deadliest motorcycle gang the world has ever seen! At the next location of The Phoenix Exchange, Wan confronts Hyrum, revealing the truth: Hyrum's big mouth has put them in constant danger.
They deliver the package, only to discover a brick inside. It turns out, Hyrum is a perfect kidney match for Evangeline. He was the package they were delivering all along, but as he has already given one to his deceased daughter, donating another would be fatal. Wan and Zora can't let this happen, but they're outmatched by Evangeline's security forces.
Just when all seems lost, their past adversaries return to help. Together, they take down Evangeline's empire. In the final stop at The Phoenix Exchange, Hyrum is ready to tell the true story, but Wan takes over, spinning an epic tale of their most action-packed battle yet.
A new franchise is born, and we eagerly anticipate what Wan, Zora, and Hyrum will get up to next.
