The Silicant

Synopsis

Tristan plans to propose to his girlfriend, Naomi, only to watch his life implode in one night. After a violent and manipulative confrontation leaves Naomi injured and Tristan wrongly arrested, he returns to find his home stripped bare—Naomi, his dog Winnie, and even the engagement ring gone.

Alone and unraveling, Tristan spirals into paranoia and despair. His brother Jacob and Jacob’s husband, Andrew, try to help, but doubt creeps in, straining their bond. Isolated in his darkened house, Tristan begins to hear things—scratches at the windows, shadows moving in the yard. Convinced he is being hunted by a malevolent presence, he names it the Silicant.

Barricading himself inside, Tristan transforms from broken man to reluctant fighter. When Jacob and Andrew return, they’re pulled into his battle, forcing the three to confront the terrifying question: is there truly a creature outside—or is the real horror inside Tristan’s mind?

In a searing climax, they set a trap to destroy the Silicant. But when Winnie suddenly returns home and the scratching starts again, the line between reality and madness blurs, leaving Tristan—and the audience—wondering what to believe.
